Invigorating nose for a 50% abv with a slap on the face notes of dark fruits and coconut cream. With time this is a delicate affair and a layer of vanilla pod, toffee/dark chocolate combined with a shade of oak and this shows the impact of bourbon cask on the maturation.
Dark dried fruits (thank you Mr/Ms Port Pipe) and syrupy in the name of honey. This experience evolves to vanilla cream and dark chocolate as in the nose.
The final is wee dry with a coat of honey and soft phenols.
