The Junior version of the iconic Greedy Angels consists of 29 cases, each containing six 750ml bottles along with branded Amrut glasses. Crafted from peated barley and aged for eight years in Oloroso Sherry Casks, it marks Amrut's groundbreaking entry into peated single malt whisky, using peat sourced from Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and peated in-house. Each iteration of Greedy Angels showcases unique flavors and characteristics reminiscent of whiskies aged for over 30 years in the Scottish Isles. Nose
Tropical fruit paradise and is a jammy affair! A train journey of demerara sugar, burnt coffee, and vanilla-cream custard with an engine of soft phenols. The bourbon barrels used for maturation shine through.
Taste
Tropical fruits as in the nose and typical salted caramel, honey and syrupy too! The vanilla-cream custard is not shy in any and is at the forefront. The texture of the whisky on the mid- way palate is silky with a note of mild citrus and banana. Due to the length of tropical maturation, the phenols are soft and mesmerizing.
Finish
Refreshing with a note of banana and peat.
